Accessories Different Eris Charging port (not mini usb)

I went to go buy an extra charger for my HTC droid eris, but when I looked at the tip on the cable it was mini usb whereas the port on my phone looks like this: HTC 6200 Droid Eris charging USB port

As you can tell, definitely not mini usb. Does anyone know what that port is called or where I can get a charger for it? Thanks

It's a proprietary HTC connector - apparently there is something extra it can do over standard mini-USB, though I can't remember what that is - but the good news is that mini-USB connectors work with it just fine. In other words, mini-USB charger cable will fit in that port and provide power, and mini-USB cables will also carry data just fine.

You can buy that mini-USB charger if you wish.

The standard mini USB connectors don't fit as securely as the custom HTC connectors. They work but may temporarily disconnect when moved. I can't touch my phone while tethered with a standard cable without a brief dropout.
