Different GSM software builds?

So it looks as though there are different software builds being released in the wild if you check the link below. Mine appears to be the same as this one and it worries me a bit. Anyone know if this is going to affect the OTAs? Should I try exchanging the device?

hmmmm that is the first i have read of that. Interesting. I guess you could either flash a newer factory image (after you make a back up of your current build) or if it is working fine just leave it alone.

I'm not sure i would worry too much about future updates. With the Devs that will be on this phone i'm sure there will be plenty of ways for you to get the software you need on it.

not to mention i bet it would be a PITA to exchange it huh?

I wasn't planning on rooting right away, but I think I am going to just unlock the bootloader and flash the stock image and see if I can get the ota then.

Yeah from the reports i've read its a good idea to do that as the very first thing when you get it. Just because it wipes and that way you don't have to re apply everything.

Putting that factory image on there is probably what i would do. Just make sure you make a backup first.
