Root Different Kinds of Rooting?

I have been rooting phone for people for 2 months now and I have a customer who wants me to root their Droid X. Is the rooting process I use on the Motorola Droid 1 & 2 going to work on the Droid X? I use the single click method for rooting. One Program is called DoRoot (Droid 2) and the other one is called Soup or Root (Droid 1). Are both of these methods compatible with rooting the Droid X?

The DoRoot batch file will work with the SDK. I have used that on my DX several times. There are a few apps out now that work as well if you want to do it that way. Z4root is one of them that I have personally used and it worked fine.
