different noticfication sounds for, gmail, email & Messages

[Android Question]

I would like to apply a separate incoming sound for gmail, email & messges. I understand the notifications menu, but cannot seem to do what I want, I don't want sthe same sound for all programs/applications.

Can you help me with this problem?

Many thanks,
J Worsley

Gmail is email, so unless you have an email app that does its own notification, no. Same with messages, as far as I know.

Check out the app called LightFlow. In addition to being able use your notification LED to signal you about various notifications, it can:

"You can also set repeating sounds or vibration patterns for each notification type."

Cheers!
