"phone menu option"

Is it just my phone or can anyone else access the ##3282# menu?

Whenever I try my phone goes dormant and doesn't bring up the menu.

Can a mod please move to rooted evo section? Sorry.

As far as I know the ## codes should work on MikG.

Try##778#?

Thanks for the reply rxpert and kathyl.

But neither code works. After I input them the "##3282# and ##778#" disappears like it is bringing up the menu but nothing happens.

I'll try again later tomorrow.

I did the ##3282# on my phone running Mik 2.59 yesterday and it worked fine.

On a side note, I was going to apply the 3G speed fix posted here, and I found all of those settings already in place. Does anyone know, are those settings cooked into the rom somehow?

I remember trying the same thing, and the settings were already in place for me as well. I'm not sure if its commonplace to do that or not.

Not sure if it's commonplace with other devs, but mik included those settings several builds ago.

But what if I update my PRL? Does the settings have to be changed again since I can not get into the menu?

if you have updated your prl since you've done the "fix", the "fix" has to be done again, unless your speeds are better with the new prl... JM2CW... since i've updated my evo to this - EVO_Radio_2.15.00.08.08_WiMAX_27243_PRI_NV_2.15_00 3 - Includes latest Radio, WiMAX, PRI & NV - i have yet to have a problem with my 3g... i'm assuming that your radio's are up to date...??? just checkin'...
