Help different tone per contact

I just moved from a HTC Incredible S and with that I has able to have a pic for each contact plus their own ringtone but I can't seem to do it with this phone. Any help would be greatfully appreciated

It's pretty straightforward. Go into the contact you want to change then press the menu key then edit. Select the picture and it'll ask where to get the picture from (album, take photo and s memo). Then go from there.

Changing the ringtone is easier, you don't have to edit the contact, just scroll down to where it says ringtone and press the arrow. Select it from there.

thanks for the reply, when I go into the contact all the only options I have for each contact is name, number & email, there is nothing else

You should be able to click on the contact you want to change. When in the contact, click on menu, then edit, click on picture to change or scroll down to change ringtone - its near the bottom.

If i click on the picture I get the option ring, video call or message and that's it

Thanks for the help, I worked it out, when I was adding a new contact and it gave the option to where the contact goes, I was choosing Sim, I did one and chose Phone by accident and all the options where there. This might be a handy tip for another newb

It could well be a useful tip for someone but I'll be honest, I don't know a single person with a smartphone who saves their contacts to the sim card.

given the two places to save I didn't realize I was saving to the wrong place
