I see my phone once in awhile switch between H+ and that is what I am on most of the time to 3G what is the difference ? I am on Bell Canada

H+ is HSPA+ whereas 3G is HSDPA. Both are UMTS 3G technologies. H+ simply means you are capable of getting faster speeds. (Usually 14.4Mbps up to 21Mbps on the GS II).

sometimes it switches back and forth for me too. i read somewhere that when your phone is doing data connection it connects to 3G, while if getting the transfer faster it connects to H+. i could be wrong but i read it somewhere that explains why it switches back and forth sometime from 3G to H+

The phone switches to H+ when it transfers data then goes back to 3G when it stops transferring data. It saves battery also .

H+ apparently means slower speeds in the US...at least the mid-atlantic region. Im on the correct APN on AT&T and my speeds suck balls.
