Help Digital Clock Widget Problem

I have the digital clock widget on my home screen of the S2 and for some reason the clock keeps freezing.

Its just the stock app with the phone. The system clock is fine, but the widget just freezes.

I have tried clearing the data from the widget, removing it then adding it again, rebooting the phone and clearing the memory, but nothing works.

Has anyone else come across this or know of a way I can fix it?

Thanks.

Since you already done everything that is obvious, the only left is the not so obvious.

1) Obtain another clock widget.
2) Find the apk file for the stock widget and reinstall
3) Factory reset (But definitely overkill for a widget problem)

My advice, forget about the widget and try others.

Cheers
:D

All clock widgets have this problem on my SGS2.... It's really strange, because it unfreezes when I switch from portrait to landscape view (and back).

Do you, by any chance, have some power saving, optimizing performance app?
That kind of apps tend to kill processes like that.
It's not common complain, if it was Galaxy's native issue, we would see more of it. My guess is, it's on your end, the widget collide with some app on your device.
