digital zoom ?

specs for the warp claim it has digital zoom i called zte (what a waste of time) to ask about the zoom feature for camera



anyone here know if the phone actually has zoom

It zooms a little on the camera. And a little more on the camcorder. The zoom on the camera is disappointing though

The app "Camera ZOOM FX" has an option that lets you change preset settings of zoom for different phone types. The last setting #4 lets you zoom in to the point where everything looks pixelated. If you want a zoom feature I'd try it. $2.99 in the market. I'll post up some photos.

Also, just to let you know, the camera zoom is located on the volume rocker. Personally, I think this is ******ed. So far, most Androids that I've seen (including my old LG OpV) have the zoom on-screen. I'm not sure why ZTE choose to be different regarding this feature. At first, I didn't think there was a camera zoom, either.
