I've been contemplating getting a BT speaker for the car that is actually A2DP (apparently, my Motorola T215 is not). However, I was noticing in the meantime that while music and media come out of a speaker plugged into the headphone jack on top, notifications and ringtones do not. I find this strange: All my previous phones (including my original Dinc, IIRC) would play everything through the headphone jack, interrupting whatever music I was playing if a notification or ringtone played through. So this leads me to wonder, given the crappy speaker on the Dinc2 (even lower output at full volume than the original Dinc): Is it worth the trouble to find a BT speaker that's A2DP if the phone won't feed it ringtones and notifications as well as media audio? Or is there something strange about plugging a speaker into the headphone jack?
