Help Direct dial/message shortcuts

So I just noticed that the direct dial/message shortcuts I placed on one of my home screens do not update the icon when the contact updates their facebook photo. Is there somewhere to change a setting for that?

Obviously Auto-Sync has to be turned on. And also check Settings > Accounts & sync > Tap on your facebook account, then sync your contacts.

The contacts are synced when I view them, it's just the shortcuts on my home screen that are not updating. I just created a new shortcut for a second number of a contact that I already have on the home screen and the icon is different than the one that's already there. I'm actually glad it showed up that way, but I was just curious about it.

From what I've seen those are static, and don't update, that's just the way it is.
