Help Disable capacitive button backlights without the settings option?

funkylogik

share the love peeps ;)
So the rom im trying has the option to turn off capacitive button backlights missing so is there a fairly simple (altering system files etc) root way i could disable them?
Cheers
(I know its a root question but id guess it applies across all the s3 variants)

Whoa funky:)
I'm not even sure about that....the link you have is for the Optimus 4X HD, and the S3 path could be different....not sure.
That would make me leery too :)

What rom are you on? A new one?

Wow i havent even read it bro lol. Was gona try it tomorrow. Glad u pointed that out lol.
Its the new Liquid Smooth v3.0 (4.3) its excellent but they seem to be having problems with the "advanced" settings app same as PA so they left it out of the build. Its the best 4.3 rom ive tried yet but these pointless lights shining in my eyes could be a deal breaker :-D

Lol id made a nandroid but yeah, im gona virtually slap the dude that gave me that link lol :D:beer:

Ive never used a terminal command or anything so that would have been my first (and "terminal" could have been the key word lol) ;)

Lol I've used terminal a few times, but when it comes to deleting specific files or replacing that's not designed for our s3, too risky and a big no no as far as I'm concerned.
