Hi..I'm using Opera Mini to browse my bank's Internet Banking site. it displays my account number as a link like 301.....98. When I click on the number, it is supposed to take me to another URL of my account details. But in Opera Mini on my HTC Desire, clicking on the number automatically copies the number into Dialer, and dials it, while actually it's supposed to open a URL instead.

I dont see any options in Opera Mini to disable it, and wondered if it was an Android system feature, and whether it could be disabled. Could anyone offer a solution to disable this behavior? I've opened a Opera Mini tech request too, but I haven't heard from them yet.

Disable Dialler on links that look like phone numbers.

There is a hidden Menu in Opera Mini that enables you to disable the dialler.

To access it open up Opera enter in the URL config: in Opera's address bar and select "OK" or "Go To".

The hidden menu will load, then Scroll down to phone number detection and change it to No.

Scroll down and save.

Close Opera then reopen Done
