Help Disable Samsung Keyboard

LeGemiNi

Newbie
Hey everybody,
I've had the Samsung Galaxy S3 for just over a day now and I have to say I love it :3 Really an amazing phone but there is something that's really bugging me.
I installed a third party keyboard from the Google Play store (Swiftley 3 Trial) which I really like because it allows me to type with multiple languages active. However there seems to be an issue here:
Whenever I tap into a Text Field and the keyboard pops up there is a little notification at the top that tells me to pick an input method. If I tap the notification there is a little popup which lets me choose a keyboard. That is really annoying.

When I press to see the keyboard settings this is what I see:

My question would now be how to either disable the Samsung keyboard (somehow, without rooting the phone) or how to at least stop showing that ****ing Notification. I mean, c'mon seriously, why would Google do something like that D:

I already have Swiftkey set as the default keyboard but yet Android keeps prompting me to pick an input type. Is there a way to block the notification somehow? Because it's really really annoying and about the only thing bugging me about the phone!

That is a feature that all androids have. It is simply a notification to let you know that the keyboard is open. Nothing more.

So if you end up only checking Samsung keyboard you don't see the notification. The only reason the notification is there is because Samsung keyboard is checked automatically. I want to uncheck that so I stop getting that annoying notification. How do I do that? Also if you don't believe me try it. You'll see :-)

So just ignore it. Is it that intrusive?

Isn't that a feature so you can pull down notifications, tap the notification and switch keyboard/input method? Could be handy.
Have you tried disabling the stock keyboard?
