I live in Flushing, NYC. There appears to be a blizzard storm heading to NYC tomorrow. I keep getting CMAS alerts and the sound really scares me.

Im glad I live in the south! I'd take the warning sound over a blizzard any day.I live in Flushing, NYC. There appears to be a blizzard storm heading to NYC tomorrow. I keep getting CMAS alerts and the sound really scares me.

Open the messaging app. Tap on settings. Scroll Down to CMAS alerts. Tap on CMAS Settings. Uncheck all the boxes. That should stop any more messages from coming in. There's also a setting for Alert reminder. If you keep getting reminders of the alert you can click on that and turn it off. As a matter of fact if all you need to do is stop the Alert reminder from well... reminding you all the time you can tap on Once and only get the scary sound when an alert comes in.
I'm in Boston Ma. We're scheduled to get two feet of snow plus abnormally high tides that could result in coastal flooding.
