Help Disable Screen Shot sound?

Using the ICS native screenshot (Vol DN+Power) there is a rather loud "CLICK" when the screen shot is taken.

I have tried various volume controls, including everything silent. The sound is still there. Anyway to disable it w/o rooting and renaming files?

Seems odd you can disable the real cam sound no problem, but the screen shot is the difficult one! lol

do i downloaded to my comp or phone itself? im guessing phone because i tried opening it on my comp and it wouldnt work...

Copy the file to your SD-Ext card. Using the Files app ... select it and it will install. You then have to run the app and select the only option provided.

There are no guarantees ... I found ... Who can't stand the loud "camera shutter / flash recharge" sound from screen capture? ... installed it and activated it.

It seems to work.

Root-ing is not required.

link worked for me. I was using chrome. It could have been a glich or a security setting in your browser or anti-virus. Try clearing your history for that site and try again.
