Help Disable sense lock screen

I've looked all over the place but can't seem to find a definite answer. How can you disable the HTC sense slide lock screen so you can just use the standard android pattern one. I have to use both which is very annoying. If I just use the HTC one then it's not secure.

I don't know bout disabling the HTC one, but you can add security by choosing a pin, pattern unlock etc.

I wholeheartedly agree this a problem, and have yet to find a solution myself.

HTC - great hardware, awful software except for what they first did with Sense.
