disable splash screen sounds?

Does anyone know of a easy to disable the sound for the splash screen other than turning down the volume before restarting? It was fun for the first few times, now its just kind of loud and not so much fun

I asked also. In short, you can't do it without rooting your phone. That's the only way you can boot animation/ sounds.

You can do it with Tasker and without rooting your phone...
If you are interested, I can post the profile\setup.
(It will silence your phone prior to restarting (instantly), then once it turns back on, you can have the sound\volume turned back up - if you'd like)
