Help Disable swipe unlock?

New here so i apologize if this has been answered before but is there a way to bypass the swipe motion to unlock the phone? Like maybe an app. or something of the sort.

I find it very inefficient to have to press the unlock button on the top right of the handset and ALSO have to swipe to unlock, and to slide open the phone and have to swipe to unlock. I'm already pushing the unlock button or sliding my keyboard out what's the point of having another measure of security lol
 
there is a widget that will do this.can't remember what it is called but someone will chime in.the only downfall to it for me was when it was activated any button would wake up the phone.i kept pressing the volume key or the camera key when holstering and it would turn on.
 
Thanks for the suggestions but it has the same problem as Keyguard Disabler. It unlocks when the volume or camera buttons are pressed
 
There's a free app called Lock Suppress that I just installed. It disables the slide to unlock screen. It does have the fault of the volume and camera buttons being able to wake up the phone, but if you are careful, it should not be a problem.
 
How about if I want to use the Lock Pattern but want to remove the swipe??? What app would you all recommend for that?
