Help Disable Swype

So I just updated my Evo today, and what came with the update was swype. Now, I really hate swype because if you turn your keyboard sideways, the space bar is all the way to the right. Is there any way that I can disable swype altogether? Thanks!

You don't have to use swype if you don't want to. Just long press on any input field, then select input method. You can select the normal keyboard from there. There is no way to completely remove swype without root.
