In HTC Sensation 4G, I turned off "Background data", auto sync and all the Google accounts (2 of them) under Settings -> Accounts & sync. But yet, it still sync the Conacts of both Gmail accounts (I verifed by checking last sync timestamp under same Settings screen). Issue for me is that I want to remove all contacts info from the Gmail account after loading them to the phone, but it will wipe out the loaded contacts if the sync still happens. Can I completely disable sync of the Gmail contacts?
