Root Disable the Boot Animation?

Hey guys I was wondering if there was a way to disable the animation that comes on when you first boot up the phone? The one that has the LG logo and the face spins and all that. I've looked in /data/local and there was nothing there but some script. And I replaced the animation already in /system/media. And I only want the one in /media to play, not the LG one. I'm on #2

Any help is appreciated :)

Well i can help and its 2ways u can do it do u know how to edit the build.prop :eek:the second way is easy as letting your dog eat your peas from your plate at dinner In Root/ES file explorer, you goto system/mediaand delete the bootanimation.zip. If you restart the phone after doing that, you'll just see the Android logo instead of an animation. You could also rename any kind of file to bootanimation.zip and copy it to system/media, then you will see a blackscreen instead of an animation.
