Disable the GMAIL Question

I prefer to use the HTC Mail, but now I cant seem to turn off the GMAIL so I get two notices everytime someone send an email. One for the HTC and one for Gmail. Any help?

Go to Menu > Settings > Data Synchronization > Google. From here you can choose what you want to sync.
