Help Disable vibrate while on a call?

Is there a way to disable the vibrate when you receive a text while on a call?

The person on the other end, actually hears it.

if you use handcent(app you can download), you can disable the notification sound while on a call as well as change the vibration rhythm to 3 long vibrations, short vibrations etc. I could not find either of those options on the default messaging program. There may be other 3rd party apps as well that can handle what you are looking for.

Uggg, is Handcent the only way to resolve this issue? I hate that app and just like the stock MMS way..
