Disabled wifi network !!

My wife and I have original Droids. Mine is rooted and running SS5.5 and hers is strictly stock and up to date. Our wireless network is a new Buffalo WHRHP 6300N. I up graded the firmware on it this morning and now her Droid can "see" the network but it is disabled. I am using WPA2. It worked for about a week flawlessly. I turned off the WPA2 and it connected fine. Can someone explain to me what is going on? We have removed it (the network) several times with no joy

It takes two to tango and if the firmware upgrade to the Buffalo router has a problem with WiFi, then you will see it on your phone(s). To see if there is something wrong with the phones, take them to a public wifi hot spot and see what happens. You may want to try more than one.

If you can connect there, but not at home, then download an older version of the firmware and install it.

I reuploaded the original firmware on my router and it works as before. I guess there is something amiss there. So I will stick with that version for now. They don't call it the bleeding edge for nothing I guess )
