Help Disabling auto updates?

Is this possible to set a broad parameter affecting all apps (rather than going into each one separately)? I want to be asked permission to install updates. Also, is there a way to revert to a previous version of an ap (navigator) that I had brfore the update?

1) Play Store/MenuSettings/Auto-update apps. DON'T have it checked

2) Application Manager. Find Maps. Press it. There should be a button at the top to get rid of the updates.

In the future, when you like the version of the app you're running, back it up to an apk file and keep it on your computer. Then if you update to a version you don't like, uninstall it and run the apk to reinstall the old version.

You might also want to install My Directions. It's like an address book. Once you have it filled with the places you go to, just press one, press Search, and Maps opens ready to navigate to that location. It makes Maps what Navigation used to be.
