Disabling Google+, Samsung IIIs

Argh! Is there a way to permanently disable Google+? I uninstall the updates and that takes care of it until it automatically updates again. Having said that, where can the updates be set to non-automatic?

Updates can be set to non-automatic in the Google play store settings.

To uninstall or disable g+you'll likely need to be rooted.

You can probably just go into g+ settings and set it not to sync though

I have about seven Google apps that have their updates uninstalled and are on the update ignore list in Google Play... G+, Maps, Street View, Play Movies, Play everything else, yada yada yada.

edit: To clarify, there is no actual ignore list; I just ignore them.

Play Store > Settings > uncheck Auto-Update Apps.

Thanks again! I disabled auto update in Play Store...will do it manually.
