Help Disabling or removing bloatware

Is it possible to either remove or inactivate bloatware that came with my M8? It seems that apps on the phone that I never use - such as Facebook, NBA Game Time, Twitter - consume battery looking for activity.

You should be able to disable all or at least most of that stuff by going to:
Settings > Apps > Select App > Force stop > Disable

If they're bloatware stuff I'd say probably not. Disable everything you don't use. If it does affect something that matters to you it can always be enabled again.

If you actually want to remove the bloatware you'll have to root your phone voiding the warranty. I think what you're going to do is the better choice smitty543. Plus, who knows... some of that bloatware may come in handy someday.
