Help Disabling the CRT power off

I really hate the CRT style power off on the Atrix. Is there anyway I can turn this off so it just goes black like every other phone without the CRT animation?

Only with a cm7 ROM can you turn it off.

But it's so cool! You must be slightly sad to "hate" it.
