Disappearing emails

Hi, I have an HTC One X and my incoming emails keep disappearing. I have checked all the folders to they are not to be seen. Sometimes this happens almost immediately, other times they are visible for longer before disappearing. Any ideas please?

Hopefully we can try and assist you with this issue. If you could provide us with more information, maybe about which email provider or application you are using that would help!
