Help Disappearing Texts Need Help

I get a notification that I received a text and with hadcent sms, I get a preview window pop up in the middle of my screen.

But, when I go to view the text in the app itself, it is not there. There is not a trace of it. It does not appear in my "messages" app nor my handcent app

Any ideas?

Did the suggestions in post #2 of the thread, here, that you posted in earlier, not work for you then?
 
its hard to tell. I have not gotten a text since I did it. but...those texts should still be located somewhere right?
