disappointed

1-5 days...LOL

It happens with every phone. Especially the first batches. I usually dont get new OS's until a few months go when they release patches, fixes.


Like my Droid is manufactured in Mar or Apr of this year. I have yet to have the problems other folks have with their Droid. It might be due to me getting a phone made this year vs. the Droids made last year.

Considering how many droids were sold in the first few months there really weren't that many problems. I have 2 that were purchased on launch day and they are still going strong. I think Motorola finally has their stuff back together and is putting out better hardware then its competitors. This phone appears to be no different.
 
Can't the phone be released before we start talking about disappointments? Be glad there's no reception issues on top of an already crap network.

I believe u......Tell that to some Inc owners....lol

According to most of them, the Droid was the worse phone created. My Droid may take the place of my E815 as a backup phone. Depending on if I upgrade to a family play to grab me an X tho.

If I do that, and make one line a regular cellphone line, I dont have to pay retail. But my contract does get reset....but then I might go for 1 year plans only if I do that.....

Decisions, decisions......

I'm coming from the Dare was well so I'm sure it will be a 100 times better but I do have to say I will miss the fact that I can get 3-4 days out of a charge... But I will not complain about the battery because I expect it to drain quick look what it has to do....
 
phones going to smoke my storm 9530 in every way... and I really dont care about the bat life to much... i work at a desk that i can have a charger at, ill buy a car charger, and if im home well obviously i can charge the thing.... so with all that time to charge the damn thing i doubt that in the situation that i dont have a charger ill need one.

with all that being said... my upgrade is Sept 16th on one of my non smart phone lines... SO here we come X!

that would be me. Hahaha. When I got my certified preowned envy 3 after turning mine in cause the entire phone was corrupted after 6 months if use. Software, hardware, everything. But I was complaining cause I was still finding plastic sticky things on my phone weeks layers hahaha. I was like what the.....SERIOUSLY?! Lol!

I'm coming from an LG Envy 3 so anything better than it. Unless you want a phone that you could literally run over with your car and punt across a football field of rocks and it would still operate. Or you could just have mine. I call it Christine. Like Stephen King's Christine. Cause it turns on and off at will. Haha and it's been a common reoccuring theme with every LG phone I've owned which is a lot.
 
I believe people have the right to be disappointed with a device, right? C'mon guys, deal with it. The phone will not meet everyone's expectations, needs or wants. If the expectations are absurd then perhaps I will define that as "crying or whining" but otherwise take it as criticism and good info for consumers. People read these boards to make an educated decision before they buy, good and bad reviews should be welcomed.
