Help Disconnected - Unplug your charger...

burtondav

Lurker
I just upgraded my Droid X to Android 2.3.3.
I now have a message that won't go away.
"Disconnected Uplug your charger from the outlet to conserve energy"

How can I get rid of it?

Thanks

unplug the charger, and unlock the phone.

if that fails..

rename /system/app/GlobalUnplug.apk to GlobalUnplug.apk.bak .

I tried to rename the file - but, I tells me I don't have permission.
How do I get permission ??

I did reboot, and it now looks like the message goes away after I unplug from the wall. Before, it stayed on all the time.

Thanks for the help!!

my mistake. in my haste to contribute something useful I overlooked the version number. you need root access to rename the file, and that version isn't rooted(yet). my apologies.
