Root Discovered weirdly powerful not-so-hidden settings!

Hey y'all. I don't know how many users/devs have discovered this little gem. I am an avid user of LPP (Launcher Pro Plus), and while adding a new dock button I accidentally hit Activities instead of Shortcuts. To quote CM's cpu warning: here there be dragons!
No jokes, this discovery if mishandled CAN AND WILL PERMA-BRICK YOUR DEVICE if you are not experienced and/or cautious.

This curiously complex extra of LPP lists just about every menu/shortcut in your phone's apps. ALL of them. That hidden menu thats mentioned/asked after? Its in there. Your unreachable APN settings? Yup. Got those too.

Not every setting/menu/etc works. Some come up blank or not at all. Of the ones that do... Don't mess with them if you do not understand the hardware/software systems of your device. You can quite quickly perma-brick your phone.

I tested some things in my old Mate35 since its no longer in service just for my own peace of mind. Yep. It doesn't even boot now, even into recovery lol.

If this helps anyone at all, awesome.
Maybe it might help a dev somehow.

Strange that you came across this within a launcher. Sounds like things you could do with Anycut app.

As for the Mate35 does your computer even recognize the phone when hooked up:confused:

The same functions can also be accessed at LEAST within ADWLauncher EX.

You should be very careful. The only reason I don't like this, is somebody is going to mess with the functions and complain when their phone gets bricked.

Believe me, I was weirded out myself. o.O
LPP is the oddball, mostly overlooked cuz it's not as "pretty" as ADW or Go, but I'm a minimalist by nature, so it works for me. The trick to anycut and most shortcut apps is they use a controlled selection environment, whereas this appears to be a pure system scan of options. Rather odd to find, and almost OP to the unenlightened. Thank god its a paid app that's not as popular. XD

Yeah the mate does, I was at work when I discovered all of that. I'm reflashing it to stock now. Probably gonna unroot it and throw it back into general circ so someone else can use it someday.

Where did you find it in ADW? I've never found it, then again I never looked for em either, to be fair.

As for careful, did you note the big warning sign I posted? I used to flash my old Razr back in the day. I'm no expert, and no dev, but I know my way around. Enough to recognize this could be handy for a dev/power user who wants to tweak something internally.
