[Discussion] Most basic Android ROM?

I am looking for an Android ROM that only includes the very basic things. e.g. Phone, Text Messages, and Camera and that's it. I mean I might use it when my Android ROM is going crazy or something and can flash it using TWRP and then I can get to the basic things.

You could flash any rom and just not flash the gapps package (which includes play store, g+, maps etc) but I think one of the most "pure" roms around just now is paranoid android (could be wrong since I've kinda been out of the scene for a while)
Or you have good ole Cyanogenmod
