Help Display battery usage?

Hi,

I have my display brightness set at the lowest level with auto brightness off, but whenever I check my battery statistics in the Battery Manager category in Settings, the display is always using about 65% to 75% of my battery. Is this normal? I asked a friend with a Captivate, and I'm not sure if he read the right stats or not but he said his display uses 24%. Is it the SAMOLED technology that uses significantly less or is there something else that I'm missing?

Thanks,

How often are you charging your phone?

The reading resets itself every time it comes off the charger, and the display (most of the time) takes more power than anything else (unless you've made a bunch of voice calls).

Same thing here. Display is always way ahead of everything else and I always have the brightness all the way down. I'd like to get the day and a half or maybe the day life out of my battery but no way has that happened yet. Luckily I sit at a desk all day so I can just charge all the time.
