Display Notification

Sorry if this has been answered but I couldn't find it. I would like my Evo to turn on full display once I get a notification. Whether it be a text, email, alert , ect. Not just a blinking light at at top but the actual screen turn on. Is this possible?

I do not think it is, I just did a quick scan through of the settings and didn't see anywhere I could change it I may be wrong though.

It's done by individual apps. Handcent SMS will turn the display on for text's. That's the only one I have setup that way so I don't know about the rest.
