display settings keep changing S11

I keep changing the display settings (settings/display) in particular the brightness ( manual) and screen timout . after an hour or so i find these settings have reset them selves eg i set to timeout after 10 mins and find it resets to 15 sec . it is as if i should have selected a "save" command for the settings , but i dont know what i am doing wrong ??
 
Welcome to the forum Andy:)

Try going to settings, application manager, all tab, settings and clear data. Hopefully then when you set up your settings again they'll stick.
