This just started happening yesterday, as far as I can tell. My timeout was set to 2 minutes, then I changed it to 1 minute, but in both cases the screen remained on.
The only changes I've made since I've noticed this was that I installed Widgetsoid and updated Read It Later, ES File Explorer, ScoreMobile, and Amazon.
What could be causing this?
