Disposable Income

It's a silly question. $750 is cab fare in NY. It's a mobile home in WV.

FWIW, all my income is disposable and I live somewhere between NY and WV.

None of my income is disposable. Why people would throw money into the trash is beyond me.

So what are you trying to say?
He is saying that where you live will change the value of your disposable income. $750 to spend in South Dakota is going to get you a lot more then $750 in NY or CA.

Yeah in Chicago it's nearly 10 bucks for a pack of smokes. Everything is expensive as hell here due to the highest taxation in the nation(or damn close) =/

I think washington has the highest tax on smokes. I believe the last pack I bought was about $8.50....

I don't think so... nearly $6 in taxes here lol.... And I'm talking highest taxes all around.

<$0 :(

and I have a job.

Nothing to be ashamed of in today's day and age. My budget is under more scrutiny now than ever before... even clip coupons to save here and there so I do have a little left over for fun.

Try $10 for ONE smoke.

$200 for the box...up in smoke.

Now there's disposable income for you.

I don't smoke but I'm pretty sure I did see a pack of Newport 100s going for $9.50 here in NY.

To the OP, I tend to save anywhere between $650-700 per month after all expenses are paid for.
