We'll be able to do that too once HTC give us the Xvid/DivX update...The Droid X video player looks to play Xvid internally. I hope that someone ports it. Anyone know who the developer of thisnew player is?

You got a link for that please? I googled and downloaded one of that name but it certainly doesn't seem that good.
I'd have thought getting a dvd -> divX free app would have been straightforward these days, but i'm doing loads of googling and not found anything that impressive yet.

i am using a Desire btw...where, what file, are you storing your movies on sd card ?
So rock player "finds" them?

can you tell me does it play mkv files also or is there another player that plays matroska do we also have the d/l link
