Another case reviewed :)

Diztronic updated and modded their case and now came with version 3.0 . There are some nice changes like getting rid of the tpu buttons and putting a little more gloss.
Check it out

I got this case an extremely pleased. I got it on amazon for 9 dollars and 90 cents and it came with a free screen protector. Couldn't be happier

I got the sparkly smoke one and I love it. It's thinner/less bulky than the Verizon TPU case, but still provides excellent protection. The cut outs are perfect - I don't hit the volume and power buttons together anymore.

just now watched that video. I REALLY wish i knew what screen protector he had on because whatever it is that is the one i DON'T want....holy smudge marks all over his screen.

I just got this case and I love it, although the screen protector that came with it covers the light sensor right next to the earpiece speaker (unlike the Verizon ones). I think that might play havoc with the auto-brightness.

Shoot! I just got the older version about a week ago with the covering over the volume buttons, which is a bit annoying. Now I need to figure out if it's worth it to fork over another $10 for an updated version of the case.

I orderd the V1 when it was on sale at Amazon and ended up cutting out the volume rocker with a blade. You end up having to cut out a bit more on the lower end of the volume area, since it doesn't quite line up. After the cut, everything lines up perfectly.

You can get it for FREE! Just go to diztronics website, send them an email saying urs accidentally touches the volume down, give them ur amazon order number, and they will send the new version at no cost. That's what I did. I love my new one!

I have the case and like it, but why cutout the 3 pin charging area? I would imagine it is highly unlikely that this case will be compatible with the cradle if if ever comes available. Rev 4, maybe.

Got my Rev3 in the mail yesterday and wow this thing is nice. Huge difference from the bulky Incipio i was using. I'll still use the Incipio for when i may be in more risky situations of dropping it. But for day to day use the Diz Rev3 is perfect IMO.

Got my rev3 replacement. Bought rev1 before release day. Rev3 is perfect. I dropped my phone on pavement and not only did this screen protector save my phone from any damage the case didn't rip, tear or show any other sign of being dropped. I don't now why anyone would pay more for a bulkier case. This one is perfect, inexpensive and looks good.

Also fits w/ 2150ma extended battery.

Thanks for the advice. I currently have rev. 2 so hopefully I can get an updated rev. 3.

^ short answer is yes.

i've been using the matte black diztronic rev 3 case with the oem extended battery and cover for a few weeks now, no issues at all. had a seidio surface case previously and for the price, the diztronic beats it every day of the week and twice on sunday!

I had the rev.2 and did exactly that. They sent out a rev. 3 no questions asked; great customer service. The volume cut-out makes it a lot more functional.
