Help DLNA on N7

On my Sensation, to show a photo on my TV, I can 'choose player' from the gallery but I can't find that option on the Nexus. Is this a Sense feature and do I need an app to do it from stock Android?
If so, does anyone have any suggestions please?

Also, I'm not entirely sure I understand the gallery. All my G+ photos are there but it's a mess. I guess I need to tidy up.

I use the app MediaHouse from the market its free with MX player to play the vids

Try QuickPic. Its much better than the stock Gallery.
