DNA Otterbox question

Got mine yesterday, like it alot but can't seem to get the hard case apart. Anybody know the trick to taking apart the case? Maybe use a butter knife and pry it apart?

There are tiny latches on each of the four sides. Press in on the top half and they unlatch; then use your fingernail to separate the halves.
