So i have been reading up on the issues with wifi since i have started to encounter them most horrendously. I have a stock rooted TU with cwm flashed. In everyones fight with the new update the ota 2.3.6 has a flaw in the DNS setting where it wont allow the phone to communicate right. One person had said something about the wifi direct option on the phone. He gave the advice of turning on the wifi direct and then back off and the wifi would work (it works). Somehow it resets the dns in a way that is flawed with the ota im not a big programmer but in theory i think the dns and the wifi direct was not programmed right imo and should be reworked if possible. Yet again im not prog savvy so not sure of this task ahead just a few thoughts on the subject. If the two were coded better it would be a great update. specially since the TU i do believe is the only boost with wifi direct... dont quote me did no research just know the prevail and warp dont have it.
