Help Do all Nexus 4s have a yellow tint?

I'd heard a ton of people mention the yellow tint before it came, but I hoped for the best.

It came, and it had a horrible yellow tint. Are all Nexus 4s this bad? The yellow tint is BAD. No amount of Faux123 kernel gamma modding can fix it. I compared it to my brother's Nexus 7, and his greys are, well, grey. Mine are brownish in comparison.

Can I get a replacement, and would it even be worth it? I mean, are all of them like this? Would there even be a difference?

Nope...mine is fairly white. But give it a week or so, mine looked a little on the yellow side when I first got it...a month later things look pretty crisp and white.

Also depends on what your previous device was...if it was an iPhone your eyes will adjust to looking at the nexus after a few days. iPhone and some screen technology in other android devices just runs a bit cooler then LG's.
 
Nope, mine is spot on. Get an exchange.

It's quite apparent how good the colours are on the N4 as the GNex grey for instance had a green tinge.
 
Nope mine had a slight yellow tint when i got it but now it has gone and the colours are real vibrant now, give it a week or so.
 
I've had it for over a week (got it on the 2nd of January) and it hasn't gone away yet. I went to Best Buy today and compared my screen to an LG Optimus G, and there was no yellowing at all.
 
Yours sounds faulty give it a bit more time but send it back if it doesn't fix. Maybe post a screenshot.

Here's some pictures comparing the gray between my Nexus 4 and my brother's Nexus 7. Pardon the had quality photos. I took the pictures with my old phone.
 
That looks really yellow and faulty. This time would you rake a screenshot and upload it. Power button and volume down at the same time.
 
Best way to see it and compare is to put the devices next to each other and have them both on the Google home page.

It's somewhat yellow in comparison to my iPod and my brother's Nexus 7. Harder to tell, but there is indeed some yellowing. It shows more on darker colors at full brightness.
 
When I first got mine a few days ago it had a noticeable yellowish tint when held next to another device, but its gone now. In the end if I only noticed when comparing directly to something else, and not when I'm just using it day-to-day then I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I already sent for an RMA earlier before reading this. The guy I talked to was VERY nice. He said "Yeah, it really shouldn't be doing that... We'll definitely get you a new one.", or something along those lines. Overall, a very helpful experience.

Mine has been yellow for over a week, and hasn't even gone down in yellowness at all (I compared it to my brother's Nexus 7 every couple days or so to check.)
 
I have my original N4 which has a perfectly white display. It has rebooted randomly a few times so I've requested a replacement. I've received two replacements and BOTH are tinted yellow. I compare to my original N4 right when I take it out of the box and they both look dingy. I plan to keep sending them back until I get a good one.

I've had my original N4 for over a month now and love it besides the rebooting issue.

Hope they get this issue fixed.

One wonders how you managed to get two replacements without returning the original?
 
I think he's returned the replacements.....and keeping only the original until a replacement comes that has a better screen.
