Do Homescreens Lag?

I know I've seen this mentioned in a thread before but I can't find it. I played with a Note today for a little bit in an ATT store. Scrolling through the home pages was laggy and a bit jerky. The rest of the phone seemed pretty smooth.
Is this a problem on ALL Note phones or just some?
