do i need a new sim card?

hi all. i'm on o2 and all i ever get on my desire is E or G which i'm guessing is edge and gprs.

my sim card is around 5-6 years old.

will a new card help me get 3G?

Did you not get a replacement one with your phone? or did you purchase the unit separately? I would just call them and say you need a replacement. I do think they do improve the Sims over time.

nah got my black desire on ebay and got it unlocked so i'm using the same card that ive always had.
