Do I need a new SIM card?

I am trying out Android for the first time with the Nexus 4 coming from an iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S supports HSPA+ speeds up to 14.4 Mbps I believe. And the Nexus 4 supports HSPA+ speeds higher than that. Because of the difference, do I need a new SIM card? Or will I be fine with the same SIM as they are both HSPA+ and the actual speeds won't be affected?

As long as they're the same size sim card it wouldn't effect your speed since they're using the same network. Do we know for sure that the iPhone was using hspa+?

AnandTech - Apple iPhone 4S includes HSPA+ 14.4, GSM/CDMA Dual Mode, Diversity

But looking at a screenshot there, it said the maximum speed was 14.4 Mbps, so I am worried that if I use the same SIM from my iPhone 4S, then the Nexus 4 will also have that limitation instead of having the limit of 21 that other AT&T HSPA+ phones have.

And they are both Micro SIM.
