Do Live Wallpapers drain the battery faster?

There are some pretty sic ones but I'm kinda concerned about battery life. Does it make a difference?

I use one and it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

They all will slightly, but you probably won't notice a difference if you're using a well made live wallpaper.

Yeah. It's a stock live wallpaper and I haven't really noticed anything so far. I could probably use all the battery life I can get though. This sucker drains pretty fast in general.

Yes live wallpapers will drain the battery if you stare at them all day. Othewise you will not notice it.

Depends on the live wallpaper. Some badly coded 3rd party live wallpapers eat up a lot of CPU cycles thus draining the battery faster. The good ones stops automatically when the phone's screen shuts off. So far the live wallpaper i'm using have negligible impact on my battery at only 1-2% battery utilization

live wallpaper .. must use cpu power to keep moving the graphics and respond to interaction (if programed to).

but only do so.. when the phone is on.. and the homescreen is visible.
how often does that happen? only when you are looking for something on the homescreen... that is a very short period of time in general.

so.. yes it does use some battery.. but in the over all consumption.. i would think it is a very small amount percentage.
